Holko House, Day 2

What a way to spend the Fourth of July...smashing concrete blocks. Thanks to Darren for his help with this project.

The concrete block wall around the patio has been demolished. We're waiting on a concrete dumpster to clean up the rubble, which should arrive tomorrow.

The boys even moved most of my veggie plants to the corner of the yard so we can hopefully save some of them. Herbs have moved into planters, and the chickens are in the process of being moved to the other side of the yard.

The next step will be to remove the concrete pad that remains. We need to remove this in order to pour the footings and foundation for the new room. Should be quite a noisy weekend coming up!
