Wine Wednesday.
I instituted a policy of wine and appetizer Wednesdays a few weeks ago after Ben and I had a chance to get out and go to a wine bar. Having two kids, this is a rare opportunity.
What made it special was that it was something out of the ordinary. No reason we can't do that at home!
Hence, Wine Wednesday.
Ben brings home a bottle of wine and I make some sort of out of the ordinary dinner, consisting of cheese and salty, cured meats (Ben's favorite). Thanks to Ken and Susan tonight for the awesome bottle of Tobin James. So good.
Little boys are invited, of course. Tonight dinner was followed by a dance party in the living room and a glowstick fishing game. And a glow stick bath. Pretty much a perfect evening.
And now for some True Blood episodes on DVD....
