Holko House, Week 1

Let's start over, counting THIS week as week 1.

Big, exciting things in the last two days. It's amazing how fast things can happen when you pay someone to do it!

Fireplace is gone, or at least in a pile of rubble outside.

You know, this looks a lot more dramatic in person than it does here...I suppose this shot doesn't look much different than the last ones I posted.

Rubble.

The trench along the street side of the house. This will be for drainage and also to run electrical conduit.

The view from the back door of the existing house. You can see the footprint of the addition because the footings are dug out!

We should have concrete poured Thursday or Friday next week. Perfect.
