Feeling Crafty

On Saturday, Sarah and I finally got together to make her some skirts for the cruise. We picked out a pattern and went out to Rosie's, my favorite fabric store ever, and came back to my house to sew. We got one done, and Sarah did most of the work herself. It turned out great, though I did not get a picture of it.


So, since my sewing machine had been resurrected from it's hiding place in my former craft room-turned boarding house and was now sitting squarely in the center of my dining room table, I figured I may as well start some projects. I have been meaning to sew this bag for months, thinking it would be a cute beach bag to take on the cruise in February. I finally did it and it's very cute. now I'm going to make one for each of the other girls going on the trip...

...but first I need to make the dress that I just bought fabric for or it will never happen...
